IvyWoodCraft Mission

At IvyWoodCraft, Inc. it is our mission for every customer to have a great experience designing their own cabinetry.  We create cabinetry beyond the box blending industry leading technology and accessories with customer specific designs for a one of a kind project.  We want to be different and provide our customers a unique experience as their own designer.  Our interactive showroom provides our customers an opportunity to explore the endless options available for their project.  Doors, hardware, laminate, granite, quartz, and many other samples can be carried around the showroom to mix and match just the right design in just the right light.  We will schedule appointments to gather information, create computer generated drawings, and choose design elements for our customers project.

A short history about IvyWoodCraft, Inc.

IvyWoodCraft, Inc. began in 1985 as Ivy Wood Specialties in Andover, MN. in just 1,000 sq. ft.  In 1998 Ivy Wood Specialties moved to Elk River, MN to 2,000 sq. ft.  In 2001 Ivy Wood Specialties incorporated to become IvyWoodCraft, Inc. operating full time.  In 2003 IvyWoodCraft, Inc. expanded to an additional 3,000 sq. ft. on the same property and added it's first employees.  In 2004 IvyWoodCraft, Inc. added CNC technology to the manufacturing process.  It was now 2005 and life was great!  IvyWoodCraft, Inc. was running well with automated machinery, a steady flow of work, and a booming housing market.  In 2006 as the housing market began to slow and IvyWoodCraft's need to grow into a larger facility, a decision was made to expand so we could remain competitive.  Many options were explored and several properties in the Twin Cities looked at it was clear bigger plans were in our future.  Although the idea of moving an entire company more than 100 miles away had not been considered it actually fit every goal that had been laid out for the company.  Our current 9,000 sq. ft. facility was purchased in December 2006 and the equipment was moved in later that spring.  We have been incredibly blessed to find a wonderful community to welcome us, beautiful lakeshore projects we could only dream of, and the ability to reach into many more opportunities.  We look forward to the possibilities in residential, commercial, and organizational work.
